Sandbox role-playing game My Time At Portia will enter Steam’s Early Access on Jan 23 next year, Team17 and Pathea Games announced yesterday.
Inspired by games such as Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, My Time At Portia sends players to a town called Portia. A workshop awaits players there, where they can start a new life using notes left at the workshop. It’s up to the players to gather resources and use their knowledge to become the top workshop in town, all while interacting and befriending other townspeople. The developer has also promised to steadily add more content during the early access period.
While a full release date for Steam has not been announced yet, the game will eventually make its way to consoles sometime next year. If you want to try the game ahead of its Early Access release, a free demo is available for download on Steam.
