Indie studio Cyan Inc. announced recently that their newest sci-fi adventure game “Obduction” is finally on PlayStation 4.
“Obduction” is released on the PlayStation network as a special PS4 and PS VR bundle, along with new content. Priced as $29.99, the new content includes a mysterious Russian submarine inside a large cavern. Two new music tracks by Cyan Inc.’s audio engineer Hannah Gamiel are also included. You can listen to a sample here.
Meanwhile, the VR version of the game will actually come later as a free update. Cyan Inc. actually worked with Legendary VR to bring the game to virtual reality. Legendary VR is a division of Legendary Pictures, a Hollywood film studio. Some of their works include “The Dark Knight Trilogy” and “Kong: Skull Island.”
“Obduction” is currently playable as a demo in the PlayStation kiosks at GameStop, Best Buy, and Walmart. PAX West attendees can try the game out over at the Indie Megabooth.
