Publisher Herocraft and developers at Studio Mono would like for you to play an early section of INSOMNIA: The Ark and provide feedback.
Slated for release on PC via Steam later this year, the game is a sci-fi RPG that’s set in an abandoned space metropolis. The developers are promising over 60 hours of content, with 12 different endings that will depend on player choices. The game has been in development for over eight years, and in 2014 they launched a successful Kickstarter.
This new beta testing phase follows a previous closed beta session that was done with Kickstarter backers in May. To join, simply head to the INSOMNIA website and sign up for the beta access. If you want to know more about the game, read on below and watch the new trailer.
About INSOMNIA: The Ark
INSOMNIA: The Ark is a complex story-driven RPG that takes place on a colossal space metropolis brimming with the secrets of a long-gone civilization.
This cosmic metropolis is populated by the descents of a once powerful race called Nomah, who abandoned their home planet ablazed by war. Over four centuries, the station has continued its path towards the ghostly Evacuation Point – a distant world, where the inhabitants of Object 6 hope to start the story of humankind over again.
Awakening in the adaptation chamber during your recovery from the Great Sleep, you learn of riots in the Near Range reservations. A state of emergency has been declared after a large-scale terrorist attack. But as you will soon learn, the attack might be the least of your worries…
Develop your character, explore lovingly handcrafted locations, interact with peculiar NPCs and factions, craft equipment and try to stay alive in INSOMNIA: The Ark.
