“Hokuto ga Gotoku” Bound for Japan Next Year

Hokuto ga Gotoku Teaser Trailer

Sega’s “Yakuza” team is apparently working on a new game set to release next year for the PlayStation 4, titled “Hokuto ga Gotoku.”

The game is based on a 1980s anime, “Fist of the North Star,” or “Hokuto no Ken” in Japanese. It will follow the series protagonist, Kenshiro, through an area called “Eden.” Here, players will be able to explore the area and perform various tasks such as bartending.

Originally reported by Gematsu, Japanese voice actor Takaya Kuroda will apparently voice the game’s protagonist. Kuroda is the current voice actor for Kazuma Kiryu in “Yakuza.”

While Japan can already expect the game to be available for them sometime next year, there is currently no word as to whether this game will arrive in the West.
