“Flat Heroes” Gets Delayed on PC, Switch

According to developer Parallel Circles and publisher Deck13, their upcoming PC and Switch game Flat Heroes will not be releasing today.

Flat Heroes, which is currently in Steam’s Early Access, is a minimalist action game featuring squares for 1-4 players. While the focus is local multiplayer, the game can also be played solo or with computer players. It released on Early Access back in September 2016 and was supposed to release fully today.

No other details regarding the new release date has been announced, other than “just a little bit later this summer.” Even the delay announcement on Steam doesn’t offer any details as to why the game had to be delayed. Meanwhile, the game’s Twitter account simply cites “unexpected issues” as the reason for the roadblock.
