Indie developer ROCKFISH Games announced today that their roguelike space shooter game EVERSPACE is launching for the PlayStation 4 on May 29.
Compatible with both the base and PS4 pro models, the game will cost $29.99 from the PlayStation Store. Its expansion, EVERSPACE – Encounters, will be available separately for $9.99. Players can also choose to buy both as a bundle at a discounted price of $34.99.
For those who prefer physical copies, ROCKFISH partnered with Badland Games to bring the title to brick-and-mortar store shelves. Priced at $39.99, the “Galactic Edition” will include the base game plus expansion, original soundtrack featuring 60+ tracks, and a color-printed booklet featuring the studio’s history and making of the game. This retail version will also launch on May 29.
Originally funded via a Kickstarter campaign back in 2015, EVERSPACE launched as a Steam Early Access title in September 2016. It finally exited Early Access and launched fully on May 2017. The Encounters expansion, on the other hand, launched in October 2017 and added over 10 extra hours of content.
