“Dragon Ball FighterZ” Switch Open Beta Schedule

Nintendo Switch owners don’t have to wait too long to try out Dragon Ball FighterZ with the open beta taking place on Aug 9.

Starting on Aug 3, the open beta client will be available for players to download. This will ensure that players are ready to go once the beta starts on Aug 9. And then on 9 p.m. PDT, the online game servers will go live. Everyone will have until 11:59 p.m. PDT on Aug 11 to try out the game.

During the beta period, players will be able to choose from 23 characters in order to participate in Arena Match, Ring Match, and Ring Party Match. Those who need some practice can also go through the Practice Battle Tutorial before facing opponents online. 

If you’re unable to make it to the open beta, worry not: Dragon Ball FighterZ for Nintendo Switch will release on Sept 28. Don’t forget that pre-orders will give early access to two special characters (SSGSS Goku and Vegeta), as well as the Super Famicom game Dragon Ball z: Super Butoden.
