“Circle Empires” Gets Content Update, Linux Support

Strategy game Circle Empires is getting a free content update today, Luminous and Iceberg Interactive have announced.

Here’s what got added, according to their announcement:

The content update adds a new unit, Hammermen. Leaders will now have workers of their respective species. For example, if you start the game as Puck the Pumpkin King, you will now have pumpkin workers. Zombies will now also function as workers.

New buildings which spawn dragons and wizards are also added in this the update. In addition to new buildings, there are now more circle types to conquer, as two new biome variations have been added: Dragon Lairs and Wizard Studies. New rare biome variations with large armies of hostile units are also added in this update.

Difficulty has been increased for Easy and Normal mode. Both modes now have more monsters to fight.

Aside from the main changes, Circle Empires is also getting Korean localization. Linux support has also been announced and is scheduled to be implemented later this month. The rest of the update includes general bug fixes, unit balancing, and UI improvements.
