Four days before release, Bandai Namco uploaded the official character trailer for Android 21, an original character created for Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Also known as “Majin Android 21,” this playable character’s existence was not confirmed until much recently. Her involvement with the story was the subject of speculation last year, but it wasn’t until about a week ago when a Japanese publication called V-Jump revealed the alter-ego. She also shares traits from a number of series villains such as Majin Buu and Frieza, and she can hold her own against the strongest fighters. Completing the game’s story mode will unlock her as a playable character.
Dragon Ball FighterZ releases digitally and physically for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Jan 26. Retail preorders will enable players to unlock two special characters ahead of time (SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta), along with two exclusive lobby avatars.
